Student loan consolidation can save you money. With today’s rock bottom interest rates, many students are under the heavy burden of massive student loans by consolidating their different student loans.

This is how it works, for each semester that you were in school you could have taken out three or more student loans. A Stafford subsidized loan, a Stafford un-subsidized, and private student loans. Just right there is three student loans, now multiply that by 2 for each year of school and you could easily have 24 different student loans at various interest rates.

When you consolidate, you combine all of those loans into one loan at the current, very low rates.
