President Elect Barrack Obama’s Assurance on Students Loan - Do you think it is possible?

First of all his assurances, was to remove or eliminate the Federal Educational Loan program and alternatively provide a fully refundable tax credit of $4,000 for college students and families, immediately on his assuming office. Good to hear! Just wondering on the likelihood of the assured scenarios!

Taking into account the past, there will be disagreements between the White House and Congress irrespective of the fact who wins the presidential election. This is likely to affect passing of any major legislation.

It is normally believed that there are just too many on the legislators’ agenda which can be realistically accomplished in the given term. In the year 2008, after the Democrats came to power and had taken control of the House and Senate, they introduced a number of bills such as lowering student loan interest rates. The volume of issues and their seriousness will take a long way in convincing congress and for the government to act quickly on all of them.
