Normal perception is that scholarships are only for those, who maintain high grades and excellent academic records. That is not true! Different types of Average Student Scholarships

• Artistic Scholarships

Any artistic or creative skill you wish to pursue in the form of education or research you need to show case them by submitting a portfolio of your artistic talent, recording of your musical talent or a video of your dance performance. Decision depends on the potential and creativity of the candidate and not your GPA scores.

• Athletic Scholarships

Students coming from a financially underprivileged group or ethnicity are given equal opportunity by way of Minority scholarships. These scholarships encourage excellence in the areas of community service, sports or any other extra curricular activity.

• Employee Scholarships

These scholarships are offered to the employees of the company therefore either you or your parents being the employees of the company can apply for such scholarships. The company will have a set of rules and regulations based on which the scholarship is granted. So, your duty lies in presenting yourself to be a deserving candidate for the scholarship.

• Other Scholarships

There are several other scholarships available. Each sponsor will have different set of eligibility criteria which may be pertaining to certain specified and specialized areas based on which such scholarships are offered. Hence, they present a wonderful opportunity to average students to fund their college education.
